PEER Conference in Dublin 3-6 November 2016

The Consortium of the PEER project, financed by the EU Justice FRAC grants, coordinated by University Babes-Bolyai, Romania and involving 12 partners has been working for two years to strengthen participation rights of Roma children and youth. To disseminate its results, the PEER consortium is organizing an International Celebration Day hosted by the University College Dublin. The Conference will take place on the 4th of November 2016, aiming to share and disseminate the results of the 25 projects with Roma children and youth that were fostered by our project. The conference will create a common learning space for young people and professionals. Based on the training and facilitation experiences of the partners, we have elaborated Magic Six, a training manual for professionals, translated in the nine languages of the participating countries and a multimedia guide for young people and facilitators. We shall launch these guides on the event, accompanied by the consortium's policy recommendations. We are convinced that these resources could be very useful for planning a large range of participatory actions, addressed especially to mobilize disadvantaged young people. Interested professionals and young people are welcome to participate, no fees are required. Contact address: veronica.somesan@yahoo.com. More information, and the manuals can be find on the project site www.peeryouth.eu.
